Emailing teachers directly into their own email addresses is the ideal approach to reaching teachers.  Providing  of course that they are willing to read them.

The Email Teachers Direct project is based on these two premises - gathering the email addresses of teachers AND getting their permission for us to mail them.

That's what we have done and what we are continuing to do.  We are building the first ever list of teachers at their own email addresses, who are ready and willing to receive information related to their teaching and to their area of expertise.

And there is a bonus - when we compare the cost and the response rates with that achieved through other e marketing services, the benefit becomes clear - the highest response rates and the the highest return on investment.
